This is highly commendable and the young generation will receive a good inspiration from you. That’s good to pass on your experiences which will remain as a legacy to the youth.

Bravo for Ode to Women!
I was delighted to read ‘Ode to Women’ on your blog.
This is excellent stuff.
It is most pleasurable to read a classical style English writing.
We do not see such boldness and character so often these days
if not anymore.
I am the President of “ASSOCIATION FORCE DE LA VICTOIRE”, an NGO fighting for apology, redress and indemnity to the descendents of coolies and slaves in Mauritius and possibly worldwide.
It is simply wonderful to see authors like Bawansing Sunkur, who dare come up to say and express worthy issues through his expert wordpower.

Sunkur is an old friend of mine.
I appreciate his works.
Namely: L’Ile Maurice Pays de LoupsGarous, Spices of Life and at long last, Petals of Trochetia.
He is that uncommon writer who dares to say and relate things that others would not and/or cannot.
Ode To Women, Politicians, Big Mystery are among the frontal issues of today’s world.
I am a High Executive of the Mauritius Sugar Bulk Terminal and I know what makes up good management and running of daily business with staff at all levels.
I am also an active social worker, Member of the Labour Party, Chairman of Pamplemousses Social Welfare Centre and active on many fronts for the sake of citizens welfare.
My brother Suren Ramsewak holds the same view concerning Sunkur Ji.
Suren Ramsewak has dedicated his life as well to social work and citizens’ wellbeing. He has been for many years the Marketing Manager of the Mauritius Radio/TV Commercial/Marketing Department. My other brother who is in the Judiciary at highest level is also very appreciative of our friend.
I wish there could be more writers with the mettle of Sunkur.

Well done Sunkur!
Your peotry and stories are indeed captivating.
It makes pleasant reading.
I have been throughout my life now, a relentless social worker, apart from being the Managing Director of my own Advertising firm ‘PUBLIPRESS ADVERTISING BUREAU’ which is the second oldest advertising agency in Mauritius.
I have come across many types of individuals and met with a wide variety of people from around the world.
I can readily say that Sunkur writes excatly what needs to be said in this era. He depicts people, places, events and time exactly the way they should be told.
I simply hope and wish that others give an ear to his laudable cries for a better world. Mainly politicians and ministers.
Bravo Sunkur and keep writing.
